Picture pirouette: Lake Monger sunset, Perth

Bus loads of tourists stop here at Lake Monger each day to see Western Australia's famous black swans, but very few of the tourists would be around this side of the lake at sunset to properly appreciate it. Lake Monger is one of my favourite parts of Perth - I used to live nearby and went walking around it regularly - and I fondly glance over at it from the freeway as I drive by these days. I took this picture shortly after moving back to live in Perth, probably when I took my husband there for the first time. Just one more of the many reasons why you should all visit Perth some day!
