Travel flashback: Tottori Sand Dune, Japan

Time flies and circuits are made. Deserts exist all over the world. Three years ago, good friends Yoshimi and Eiji took me to Japan’s attempt at a desert, a famous single sand dune in Tottori prefecture.

This trip also included my first experience of bathing naked in an onsen, an incredible traditional Japanese meal served on the same tatami mats we’d later sleep on, and my first and last attempt at boiling eggs in a natural hot spring. Yet there are still so many firsts left in the world for us to discover. That’s a nice thing to know.
