Europe is forgiven: Summer in Croatia, Part 2

Summer is possible. Our last few days in Croatia have been magical, warm and memorable.

It helped a lot that our good friend Tatiana and her son Martin invited us to join them and their Slovak friends in the tiny town of Ražanj, west of Split. Getting away from the tourist zone, having a balcony hanging over the sea with a view of islands and the coast (see the photo below), pensinsulas, sailboats and incredible sunsets, swimming in clear turqoise water, spending balmy evenings chatting with Slovaks, Croatians, Poles, Italians ... this is summer.
We have moved on down to Dubrovnik now, where we will base ourselves until Friday, with adventures planned in Mostar (Bosnia & Herzegovina) and Kotor (Serbia & Montenegro) and spare time spent in the sun and sea. Croatia has definitely been added to my must-come-back-one-day list.
